Hate vs. Love
April 12th, 2005 by ShayneApparently people are selling “Kill Bush” material on CafePress. Michelle Malkin posted pictures. They have T-shirts with printed blood dripping down the front. I have to wonder what is in these people’s minds. Don’t they have anything better to do? What exactly is it about Bush that makes them want to splatter his blood everywhere?
If they don’t agree with his policies, let them say so in a constructive manner. There simply is no excuse for this kind of hate-filled rhetoric. It doesn’t convince him of what they want him to do, and it makes everyone else mad. If I printed such materials about Osama Bin Laden, I wouldn’t convince him of anything, and I’d just make myself sick! So you see, hate is not something we should be pursuing.
Love, of course, does not mean we should enable people to do evil things unchecked. It’s why America could not let Saddam alone. Our love for the people of Iraq, as well as other people across the world, brought about the new free republic they have. The people who hate Bush on these T-shirts probably hate the Iraqis. They say they love people, but they obviously don’t. I wish someone could show them what real Love is, not phony socialist love.
