Blind (In)Justice or Two Wrongs Don’t Make a Wright

October 30th, 2010 by Christopher White

We’re about to vote on Tuesday. It’s a mid-term election, but it’s become one of the most important in history (really!). It’s a referendum on whether we want a Socialist nation or a Free one. And sorry, those two words are antonyms. You can’t have Socialism and Freedom in the same package. Don’t believe me? Look at Europe. The people there are enslaved by their governments — enslaved by dependency on welfare programs, and enslaved by massive regulations and taxes. Think that’s still a Good Thing? Don’t they have “cradle to grave” care? Sure. If you like living in a prison. They have the same kind of care, there, too! Trouble is, Europe is going bankrupt (Greece, Iceland, Spain already have — France and a few others are right behind; Britain may save itself because gasp! they’ve instituted conservative measures to gasp! cut spending (and, hopefully, taxes).

But the Progressive know-it-alls who are behind Obama aren’t giving up without a fight. Voter fraud is at an all-time high. Some counties in Missouri have more voters than residents. And Colorado and Arizona already have had massive voter fraud exposed (can you spell ACORN and SEIU?). We’ve already experienced voter fraud (and/or intimidation) in the last election, when the New Black Panther party tried to intimidate voters in Philadelphia (charges were dropped, but that’s part of what I’m talking about). Despite what the DOJ said in the aforementioned article, the government lawyers have standing orders not to prosecute any charges of voter fraud if perpetrated by blacks. I suspect that goes for other “people of color,” too.

I realize that in the past our American judicial system has not been “color blind.” I realize that racism has been a problem in this country — mostly founded on the unwarranted assumption that blacks and other “people of color” were “inferior” to European whites. I hope no one reading this blog believes that nonsense! “All men (as in humans) are created equal.” Know where those words came from? How about these: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Hint: The Declaration of Independence, and Galatians 3:28.) OK, so we’ve had a history of racism in this country. We’ve also had a history of fighting against it. Or don’t you remember it was white abolitionists who fought against slavery? Fast-forward to the 21st Century. Now the pendulum has swung the other way. The ideal, remember, is “blind justice” —

Blind Justice

especially “color blind” justice. But today, we are witnessing a climate of reverse racism.

Besides the DOJ directive to ignore voter fraud complaints unless the defendants are white, we have Jan Napolitano’s War Against Arizona. Arizona clearly has a right to defend its borders from invasion, but the federal government, while doing absolutely nothing to seal the border, is actually suing Arizona for trying to defend itself. And Obama’s cronies have taken the case to the U.N. and its “Human Rights” Commission (made up of some of the world’s worst human rights abusers), clearly a violation of U.S. sovereignty. We have the NAACP calling the Tea Party racists (despite the large number of blacks who are Tea Party members or sympathizers). We have Obama telling the Hispanics that their fellow Americans who don’t adhere to their Socialist policies are “enemies.” Yet, if I say (and I do!) that Barack Obama is an oath-breaker, a liar, and the single greatest threat to the United States since WWII — I’ll be called a racist. Yes, by the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, two of the biggest con-artists of the modern age. And by the likes of Louis Farrakhan, who said: “Now that nation called Israel never has had any peace in 40 years and she will never have any peace because there can be no peace structured on injustice, thievery, lying and deceit and using the name of God to shield your dirty religion under His holy and righteous name.”

Oh, yes. I almost forgot! And then there’s Obama’s “spiritual mentor,” who he “threw under the bus” when the going got tough in the presidential election. Good ol’ Jeremiah Wright. The “God damn America” man. Wright spent his life hating whites. He lives and breathes hate. And he raised Obama, in a spiritual sense. So this is what we have: a man who is president of the United States, who perpetuates racism (in the name of combating racism) and has lived most of his life in an atmosphere of Communism (his parents), Islam (his step-father), anti-Americanism (Bill Ayres), and racial hatred (Wright). But if we say that, we’re racists.

True justice is blind. It does not try to right past wrongs, just not perpetuate them. It does not try to “make up for” past injustices. It takes each case on its own merits. It judges a man or woman by his or her deeds, not by the color of their skin — or the size of their purse. It protects the weak, defends the innocent, punishes the guilty.

If Obama and his Progressive allies truly want to create a world of which Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. could be proud — they’ve fallen way short of the mark. In fact, they’ve fallen off a cliff. On November 2nd, we can pull American back from the brink. Live Free or Die!
